August 12 New sisterKayCee turned 2 on August 2nd and got a new baby sister on August 8th.
Ella Cerise Heather was born by elective C-section at 3.05pm and weighed 7lb 2oz.
KayCee loves her sister and has already said Ella is her's!
KayCee's doing really well at nursery. Her speech is amazing for her age.
She's a wonderful little girl and we're so very lucky to have our family  November 05 UpdateI thought it was about time I came and updated the blog!
I haven't got any pictures to add because our digital camera is broken and we need to replace it.
KayCee is 15 months old and is the cheekiest little girl on the planet!
She started walking a few weeks before her 1st birthday and is talking really well. She's very clever and constantly amazes us with how quickly she's learning
 She loves Aiden to bits and he's the same with her. It's lovely to see them playing together
We'll be getting the camera replaced very soon and I can't wait because I love taking photo's of them!
KayCee's hair is really long and she has the most gorgeous curls. It's a nightmare to keep it detangled but she's getting used to it now and doesn't object quite so much when she see's the brush and detangle spray lol
Her curls are forming into ringlets and she looks so adorable!
Everyone who meets her, falls in love with her! lol
Well, I've got work soon so I'd best stop gushing about our princess and get breakfast made!
 May 21 21st MayKayCee's nearly 10 months old now. The time is just flying!
She's started to pull herself up on the furniture and keeps trying to let go and walk!
She's saying her first words.....daddy, mummy, bye bye, bot bot and is even trying to say Aiden!
She's got 4 teeth and looks so cute when she smiles
 Aiden's top 2 front teeth came out and his new ones are poking through!
Ant's still working hard but not doing as many late nights now, thankfully!
All in all, life is wonderful April 07 7th April 2006A quick update....
KayCee's had chicken pox! Aiden got them first then 2 weeks later KayCee got them. She was covered and I was worried about touching her at times incase I hurt her
 I'm so pleased she's over them now!
 She also had a stomach bug. Aiden got it first, again! lol then Jervais got it, then me and Kaycee got it the same day. Ant got it a couple of days later.
It felt that there was nothing but illness in this house for about 3 weeks!
 KayCee had her 8 month development check yesterday and everything is fine
 I've started her on a new routine to try and help her sleep better at night.
She started to sleep through then after being ill, she started waking up again. Hopefully, she'll stay asleep tonight!
 Aiden's gone to his dads for a week as it's the easter holidays. He's 6 in a couple of weeks time. I can't belive how fast the time has gone!

 February 26 26th FebWell KayCee's a few days from being 7 months and the time has just flown by!
She's got her first tooth and can sit by herself
and her hair is growing very fast! It looks a bit wild some days what with the curls at the sides lolShe's finally sleeping through the night!!! Wooohooo!
She whizzes round the house in her baby walker!
Aiden's doing great
He's my little angel.Ant's still loving work and thankfully, is coming home a bit earlier in the evenings now so I get to spend some time eith my hubby again!
Jerome has asked if he can move out and is looking for a place to share with 2 friends and Jervais is job hunting.
Well I'd best get dinner on as Aiden will be back from his dads soon.

We had a wonderful christmas! Aiden spent christmas at home with us as did Jervais and Jerome and it was really lovely to all be together on christmas day.
I think it might have been our last xmas together cos Jerome is itching to find a place of his own! and Aiden's spending this xmas with his dad.
Ant started work as the manager of a dry cleaners and laundrette just before xmas and is working long hours, 7 days a week, to get the business going again and running the way he wants it.
He's loving it
I'm in the middle of spring cleaning the house (yes, I know it's not spring yet but I can't wait till then lol) and can't wait till it's done!
KayCee's had an eye infection in both eyes this past week. It's getting better now, with the help of the drops the doc gave her!
She's in a foul mood today though, won't stop crying and moaning
 I'm hoping she'll have a really good sleep and wake up her usual happy self!
Aiden's doing great in school. It's scary how fast he's growing up! I can't believe he's nearly 6
 Well the little madam is crying so I'd best go see if I can calm her down so she'll sleep.
Love Shell xx December 16 16th DecemberKayCee's been poorly this week
She had a chest infection which was joined by a cold so she's not been sleeping very well. She seems to be over the worst now though I'm totally shattered!
 but hopefully, now she's getting better, I'll be able to get her back into her evening routine. She's stopped going to sleep on her own because she's got used to me and Ant picking her and cuddling her when she cries.We've got to get her used to dropping off to sleep on her own again and more importantly, staying asleep and not expecting to be brought back downstairs when she cries lol
It's Jervais' 18th birthday today. He's out on the town tonight!
Aiden's getting excited about christmas...as am I! lol I can't wait to see his face when he opens his presents.
Well it's not very long today as I have loads to do before we go fetch Aiden from school.

time for another update
KayCee will be 4 months old on 2nd December and is getting really big now!
She's started having solids and seems to like everything we give her! lol
She's still not sleeping through...she always wakes around 3.30am for a bottle! I'm shattered lol but Ant has her on Friday and Saturday nights so I ca catch up on my sleep
I really can't wait till she starts sleeping through! lol
She'll be going in her big cot in another couple of months so hopefully she'll start sleeping longer then!
Aiden's still wonderful with her. If she cries, he does everything he can to make her stop! She laughs at him all the time!
Well it's nearly time to go fetch Aiden from school so I'd best wake KayCee up and get her all wrapped up cos it's cold outside!

KayCee's nearly 3 months old now is doing brilliantly! Time has just flown by!
 She's giggling loads and smiles at everyone who talks to her!
Everyone is besotted with her!  lolShe's not sleeping through yet
but she only wakes up once, around 3am. She has a bottle and a nappy change and is usually back to sleep within half an hour so it's not too bad! ~~~ it's even better when Ant has her in the night so I can sleep lol He's been brilliant  My back has nearly healed. I went for my last appointment with the nurse yesterday
It's still a bit sore but I was soooo pleased when she said I didn't have to go again!
It's taken 12 weeks for the wound to close and I reckon it'll be a couple of weeks before it's completely healed and not sire anymore!

I've added new photo's so thought I'd come and update the blog
 My back is healing, albeit very slowly! The wound came open, got infected and I now have a hole in my back. I have to have the dressing changed by the nurse on a daily basis.
Ant's been taking photo's of it for me so I can see what it looks like and I have to say, it's disgusting and makes my stomach turn but I can't stop looking!!! lol
It'll be lovely when it's healed and I'm back to normal!
KayCee is doing brilliantly. She weighed 10lb 6 and a half ounces last Tuesday (she was 5 weeks old and weighed 8ln 6oz at birth). The health visitor is very pleased with her progress.
We're going to start a proper bedtime routine tomorrow night so hopefully she'll be more settled.
Aiden's loving being a big brother. He's a brilliant help
Ant's been wonderful. He's taken excellent care of me since I came out of hospital. He's had KayCee at night so I can sleep. I find it so much easier, and nicer, taking care of her in the day when I've had a proper nights sleep and I'm so lucky that he's so supportive
I'm having her tonight s he can get a proper nights sleep.

August 08 1st Proper BathWell, KayCee had her first proper bath, at home, today.
We bathed her in the bathroom sink, and she really enjoyed it. I think the house could have blown down around us, she was so 'chilled'.
She's a lovely baby and just loves to lie on your chest and sleep.
August 05 Operation UpdateWell, the operation went according to plan.
Shell was wheeled into the theatre area at 9am and was wide awake in the High Dependency Unit by 11.30.
She was very sore, but the morphine, Voltarol and paracetamol soon got to work and by 6pm she was back on the post natal ward, where she was able to get a good wash and clean her teeth.
Kaycee, who'd spent the day in the neo natal unit, was returned to us by 7.30pm.
We're hoping that Shell and Kaycee will be allowed out on Saturday, as planned, but it's probably more realistic to expect a Sunday or Monday release. August 03 Operation TomorrowI'd just like to thank everyone, for your nice words.
She has to go to the operating theatre, tomorrow, unfortunately.
When they where giving her the spinal anaesthetic, yesterday, the end of first needle (very long and fine) broke of inside her, very close to her spine. This never happens, but it did this time... LOL.
Anyway, it's not causing any problems, but they want to get it out, if possible, to prevent it moving and causing problems in the future and, also, so that they can send it back to the manufacturer for examination.
So she's going down to theatre 1st thing tomorrow and they are going to try and find it... LOL
50/50 chance of success
